Your entire Central family is invited to Tiger Hunt, our annual back-to-school picnic, to celebrate the beginning of the new school year. This is a wonderful time to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones!

WHEN IS IT?
Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025
Time: Events begin at 5
Where: Front lawn of Central Magnet School
WHO CAN ATTEND?
This event is designed for all members of each Central family! We recommend that families bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this event.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It's free to attend! Hot dogs, snacks & bottled water will be provided for free (while supplies last). Various food trucks will also be available (prices vary by vendor).
HOW CAN I HELP?
Thank you for asking! Parents as well as students can help in different ways:
We need individually wrapped snacks and/or bottled waters
We need help supervising the bounce houses, food table volunteer, setups, clean ups etc.

WILL YOU HAVE CLASS PHOTOS?
Yes! Class photos will be available. Students will meet on the front steps according to the below schedule for a group picture. Please make sure your child is on the front steps if you want them in the photo
5:30 PM - 8th grade
5:45 PM - 7th grade
6:00 PM - 6th grade
6:30 PM - 9th - 12th grade (if required we'll split in 2 groups 9th - 10th and 11th-12th)
CAN WE TOUR THE SCHOOL?
Yes! Guided tours of CMS will be provided by Student Council. These tours will take place after each respective class photos.
WHAT FOOD VENDORS WILL BE THERE?
There will be multiple food Vendors.
Important notes: Food vendors are available for purchase (not included for free).
CAN I BUY CMS SWAG?
Yes; we have great opportunities to buy CMS gear!
CMS Student Council will have a limited supply of shirts to sell; let's help them out with raising funds!
Additionally, there will be a vendor selling CMS branded content
